Fri, July 20, 2007 - 8:42 PMI would if anyone in my area was awake for it... I seem to be the only LA native who has any stuff or interest left. -

Sat, July 21, 2007 - 9:49 AMIt seems like that everywhere. Table top gaming is an activity on its way to the grave. Sad. -

Re: *crickets*
Sat, July 21, 2007 - 11:46 AMActually, I had just found someone on Meetup.com from Culver City, I just await their correspondence, but I know exactly what you mean. Everyone I knew who was into Battletech just moved on to like Magi:c The Gathering and other things back in the '90s, and CBT seems to be all but dead, like in a lot of boonie states or something, what's up with that? It's kind of depressing, but I guess if I keep drumming up enough noise, peoplewill find it's way back to some of it. Such a travesty! -

Re: *crickets*
Sun, July 22, 2007 - 9:20 AMWell, when you can load up MW4 and challenge them online, who cares about getting in the car and driving to someone's house? Oh noes! THEN you have to set up the game. And still then you have to spend hours actually PLAYING! WAAAA!
Hmph. I have never had as much fun with PC games as I have with the gritty and unpredictable nature of moving those little lead minis around. I ended up picking the Dark Age version up just so I could get some mech time in, but even that's on it's way to death now.
